Timber gates

Gentlemen,
If I haven't said it before, I am absolutely delighted with my new gates. The quality, finish and build is excellent and the first-class packaging ensured that the consignment arrived in Orkney completely unscathed.

I am now waiting for this awful weather to abate before embarking on digging deep holes in the 'rocky' ground. The severe wind is not conducive to setting big poles. Perhaps that sounds a bit wimpish, but there you are. George Q

Dear Alan,
I hope you are well and full of the joys of Spring !
My gates are now installed and boy, do they look impressive. Photo will follow when the groundwork (threshold) is completed. I think I told you that the drive incline has to be altered to accommodate the inward swing of the gates. At the moment they look as if they are set a little to high. Nevertheless, lots of admiring glances and comments. 'nough of that.

When the gates are installed, they will be photographed, on a sunny day. I then hope to send a pic in the hope it might be useful for your promotional purposes.
